Art in the Firm

DIAS is a promoter of contemporary art. In co-operation with gallery anixis (www.anixis.ch), which is located in the vicinity, supports selected Swiss and foreign painters and sculptors by providing them material and space to create their art works; and by using its offices to conduct exhibitions. Further, the conference hall of the firm is used for performing classical and jazz music concerts.

The offices of DIAS contain a large collection of art works and build-in masterpieces.

The philosophy and objective of DIAS in supporting art are:

  • Help talented artists develop their careers and increase their income; and particularly those from the countries with developing and transition economies
  • Offer an additional cultural forum to the benefit of the local community
  • Use art as one of the media of understanding and respecting other national cultures, and
  • Provide to the staff and visitors of DIAS a "colorful" environment that feeds the psyche, enhances motivation, and stimulates creativity
